Are you background checked and insured? ▼
Yes — I hold a current Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card, am CPR certified, and carry professional liability. You can request copies before we start. I believe in radical transparency — there's nothing to hide.
Do you specialize in veteran care? ▼
Absolutely. I have specific experience with veteran clients — I understand military culture, am familiar with VA benefits and how to work alongside them, and approach PTSD-informed caregiving with patience and consistency. Veterans deserve care from someone who gets it.
What does a typical visit look like? ▼
Every visit is tailored to your loved one's needs and preferences. It might include preparing a meal, helping with personal hygiene, a walk and conversation, medication reminders, a drive to an appointment, or simply sitting together and talking. We build a routine that feels natural — not clinical.
What areas of Yuma do you serve? ▼
I serve Yuma and surrounding areas including Foothills, Fortuna Foothills, and nearby communities. If you're unsure whether I cover your area — just ask! I'm flexible and community-focused.
How do I get started? ▼
Send a message below or email bowman.shiann@gmail.com. I'll reach out within 24 hours to set up a free, no-pressure consultation — with you, your loved one, or both. No commitment required, just a conversation.
What are your rates? ▼
Rates are customized based on the type of care, hours needed, and visit frequency. I'm completely transparent — no surprise fees, no "gotchas." We'll talk through it during the free consultation and I'll give you a clear number before anything starts.
Can you do overnight or live-in care? ▼
Yes! Overnight and live-in care is available for clients who need around-the-clock presence and peace of mind. Availability depends on scheduling — reach out early if this is something you need.
What's the difference between a caregiver and a home health aide? ▼
A caregiver provides personal care, companionship, transportation, and daily living assistance. A home health aide or nurse handles medical tasks. I serve as the former — but I work well alongside medical professionals when needed and can help coordinate care across providers.
